Since 1989, The Father Fred Foundation has been providing food, clothing, household goods, and financial assistance to those with less within our five-county community. In the words of Father Fred himself, we are here to listen, care, share, and above all, provide hope for those who find themselves in difficult times. Our goal is to ensure that no one in our community falls through the cracks - and we do all this without accepting any state or federal aid.

The City Opera House is a regional hub for connecting people to the arts and each other. It's a destination attraction for quality arts and cultural entertainment, arts education, and public and private gatherings.  Community-sponsored events, including the National Writers Series, the Traverse City Film Festival, conferences, weddings, proms, family reunions are scheduled in this historic venue,  The 680-seat theater’s functional design provides the flexibility to clear the main floor of seating for large gatherings.

The Little Collaborative supports the VETERAN TO VETERAN mentoring program. Veteran Mentors know their duty is not over, the “mission” is not complete, their service is required to help fellow veterans who may be finding it difficult returning to civilian life.

Letting our Veterans know that they are not alone, in both their needs and in life, and that they have One More Mission as well: to adjust to civilian life by battling the demons that they face like isolation, alcoholism, drug abuse and other emotional issues.

This “mission” is one of peace, compassion and love for fellow Veterans. One More Mission unifies Veterans, similar to servicemen in a platoon, squadron, company, unit, battery, troop or division, and provides them with strength, clarity and most importantly, brotherhood.

One More Mission restores hope and dignity for those Veterans in need and allows Veteran Mentors to take pride in serving their country and members of their military family again.

It’s their mission. And it’s our mission.
